I have. It's wonderful actually. Not only do you get to check out some sweet body parts moving about but you're also more motivated than ever before.
Why?
Well, for a starter you immediately think about getting that hot girl as your girlfriend. Second, you start putting on more weights because you want to impress her. That's already pushing your limits which you might not do all of the time. And pushing your limits is what weight gaining is all about.
How can you even further this motivation?
Either pick your hottest female friend from Facebook and tell her you two should start hitting the same gym together, or you can always help out some chicks in the gym, making her a friend in the process.
If you don't hit on her, just try to help her out, she'll notice. Do that a couple of more times and she might just ask you what time you usually work out. Then it's all a matter of organizing the two workout sessions together.
Having a female friend as your gym buddy not only will get you the 'impressive' look from other gym-goers, it will also have a positive effect on you. You probably already noticed that not a lot of guys go down to the gym with girls. You doing the exact opposite will make you feel like a pro. You'll lift more, work out harder and have a positive outlook on your body.
Getting to chat about with other guys becomes a lot easier as well. And add another big benefit to all these: the fact that you're coming under the spotlight in the gym. Guys will approach you, first to ask about your female friend of course, but then they'll help you out! Often times this'll get you more friends in the gym than anything else.
This is possibly the best way to come out of the shy corner and acquire some friends. You'll be the guy who's shaking everyone's hands, who is getting the salutes immediately after stepping into the gym. Guys will help you out with the equipment, they'll spot for you, they'll give you advice on workouts, supplements etc. Make no mistake: the people who work out the hardest know a lot. They literally spend half their life in the gym. Some of the best 'street-smart' techniques can come from these dudes.
And on top of all that: other chicks will notice all this. Notice how you know literally everyone, how you have that one girl who is always smiling around you. They'll start becoming jealous and sooner than you know it, they're around you as well!
All this because you had that one girl in the first place. That's how big time chicks can motivate us in the gym.
